From the time I walked into this ER the doctors and the nurses staff have taken excellent care of me. Feom walking me through the Procedures step-by-step! Just showing me my lab results, to make me feel calm! A special shout out to my nurse Shawna at night and to my nurse Amy during the day you guys are awesome thank you for making me feel like a human being and family not just a name and a number
I love this hospital the level of care and quality service I always get here makes it a little easier during each visit when my health has me feeling bad. I have had multiple surgeries, admissions, ER visits here the staff really cares about you and your health the vibe is awesome. They have a parking area that is easy to access for hospital area that has security there is a valet parking area at the ER entrance, the wait time isn't that bad and is worth the service I promise
My brother is in ICU. The staff is very friendly and attentive. His previous doctor came to visit and check on him to make sure the compassion hasn't been lost. Amazing! Taking great care of him.

Very progressive. Lots of seminars and groups. They teach you how to be healthy. Never had to stay overnight but I've had friends that have. My take is you try to avoid being a patient. But if you are it's where you want to be.
I must say I was there quite a few times for myself and others even family over the years and they did great. 9.9 or just call it a 9.10. nothing is perfect but that is as close as you get.
Had to go here for a quick visit, all went smoothly. The staff was nice and efficient.
My husband was in icu for 74 days. Nurses did an awesome job taking care of him. I was at the hospital everyday. He is alive and getting better every day. Life is good. Nice parking lot. Security is very helpful too. They are always driving around.
Renown gets a score of 10 from me. Having all my physcians, from my primary care to my Cardiologist, Endocrinologist, Pulmonologist , Orthopaedic, GI, ENT, ER and all the state of the art equipment for MRI's, Ulltrasounds, EGDs,labs, Emergency and Operating rooms. I have the greatest confidence in the doctors and their staff, putting my life in their hands. Recommending with 5 stars !!!!
My Dad had open heart surgery in Dec 2015....the staff was amazing!! I came from out of state to be there before, during, and after his surgery. Everyone was so nice! Even staff around the hosp helped guide me if I was lost, and even walked with me all the way to my destination!!! Cannot say enough about this hosp! Great surgeon, my dad had successful surgery!! As I am writing this review, getting ready to head back to the hosp for again another open heart surgery, this time my MOM....I feel very confident she will have a great experience as my dad did.... My son Matthew is in the neurology ward with a seizure disorder following two brain surgeries - he has been tended to by Paul who is an RN. Can't say enough about how wonderful Paul is - took the time to explain everything to Matt and he is honestly a wonderful nurse! So great to be helped by someone like that when we are going through such a challenging time!
Between early morning Emergency visit to Labor and Delivery my family was well taken care of.
They are very professional hear.
Depending on the department, processing can be slow. However, the staff is AMAZING here. I scheduled my tests on conflicting days on complete accident. It took 4 departments and a few managers, but they were able to get me in today. I arrived around 6 for what I thought was 12 different tests, that I again, scheduled on different and conflicting days. I walked out by nine with all my tests completed on the same day instead of having to come back a week later. The reason for the three stars is for the lack of help from other departments. Mostly due to policy instead of employees.
ER SUCKS. no one even seems to care. But these 5 stars goes to the whole labor and delivery team. 2nd and 3rd floor. Incredibly helpful
"Conserve the Fighting Strength!"
EVERYONE was helpful and kind when my son skied into a tree and broke his leg... the Valet who told me how to get to the pediatric ER, the receptionist in the ER who made repeated phone calls to find out and keep me appraised of my son's progress to Reno in the ambulance, the trauma team who met him and explained everything that was going on to both of us, and all of the doctors and nurses and aides and Physical and Occupational therapy personnel and even the cleaning person in the pediatric unit. As painful as the experience was, it couldn't have gone better as a result of the genuine caring of all the people at Renown Hospital.
I was hurt and they helped out. Good service.
I was hospitalized here because I caught an exceptionally bad case of pneumonia that caused my entire left lung to collapse. I was scared, in massive amounts of pain, and just generally not having a fun couple of weeks. It was a bad situation, but it would have been worse without the absolutely phenomenal nursing staff at Renown. They were always there for me, they cared, they always took the time to explain what was going on, and constantly went above and beyond to make sure that I was okay. I cannot possibly thank them enough.
Love my job Love the vets that make our job a job...
